Midland issues traffic advisory amid crash investigation that left one seriously injured
MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The City of Midland has issued a traffic advisory for the area of Loop 250 and Big Spring Street after a crash that left one person seriously injured in north Midland.
According to the City, around 11:59 a.m. On November 8, officers responded to a major crash on Loop 250 and Big Spring. Investigators said a white Honda pickup truck traveled off a Loop 250 ramp and landed on a silver Toyota Camry that was near the overpass on Big Spring. The driver of the pickup, identified only as an "older man", was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation and City leaders said drivers in the area should expect delays and lane closures. Heavy vehicles should seek an alternate route.
