Directed by Lee Meyer, "Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean" delves into themes of identity, memory, and community through the lens of a fan club for James Dean, meeting in a small Texas town in the 1950s. As the characters revisit their shared past, the play reveals deep personal and societal struggles.

"We are proud to bring this powerful and thought-provoking play to our community," Meyer said in a news release. "It's a story that resonates deeply with questions of self-identity and societal change, and we hope it will spark meaningful conversations."

The production contains mild adult content, including discussions of sexual assault, transphobic and homophobic issues, and some racial content. Audience discretion is advised.
