CLEVELAND - The Detroit Tigers now know when they'll play their first home playoff game in a decade.

Major League Baseball announced Friday night that Game 3 of the Division Series against the Cleveland Guardians will take place at 3:08 p.m. on Wednesday at Comerica Park.

If the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres wrap up their series early, the start time could be moved back one hour to 4:08 p.m.

Game 4, if necessary, will be under the lights at Comerica Park. The tentative start time is 6:08 p.m., although that could be moved back two hours if the New York-Kansas City series has already ended by that point.

Should the series reach a decisive Game 5, it will return to Cleveland with a scheduled start at 4:38 p.m. This game could also be shifted to 8:08 p.m. if the Yankees/Royals series has finished.

The Tigers' last home playoff game at Comerica Park was Oct. 5, 2014 , when they were swept by the Baltimore Orioles in the ALDS.
