Mobile assault, robbery under investigation

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating after a victim was physically assaulted during a robbery.

According to a department news release, officers responded to the 2200 block of Johns Lane around 7:20 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 for a report of a robbery.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

Officers arrived and said they found the victim was physically assaulted by an unknown male who proceeded to take their property with force.

Police said the incident is an active investigation.
