SILVER SPRING, Md. ( DC News Now ) — September is Suicide Awareness Prevention Month, and The Santé Group in Montgomery County is at the forefront of mental health support.

The organization has helped over 24,000 individuals and their families by providing community-based emergency response and comprehensive care.

With mobile crisis centers and 988 Suicide Prevention Lifeline services, they handled over 80,000 crisis calls last year, ensuring people receive critical support and care.
