Weston Dressler scored a pair of touchdowns to help the Saskatchewan Roughriders defeat the Ottawa RedBlacks 35-32 in overtime. The Bismarck native and former UND star caught seven passes for 125 yards and a score and averaged more than 20 yards on five punt returns, one going for a 78-yard TD.
Danny Montplaisir and Caleb Haugen scored first-half goals as Mandan defeated Jamestown 2-0 in West Region soccer. Matt Kline made 13 saves, seven in the firt half, for the3 Braves.
Bismarck's Russ Henegar led Moorhead State to a 28-10 win over Northern State. Henegar set up the game's first score with a 75-yard run and raced 73 yards for the Dragons' third score and Moorhead won its first game in three outings.
