Motorcyclist killed in crash on Camp Creek Parkway Thursday morning

FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - On Thursday morning, a fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Camp Creek Parkway and Bakers Ferry Road in South Fulton, claiming the life of a motorcyclist, according to South Fulton Police Department.

The crash took place around 7:30 a.m. as a blue motorcycle, driven by male traveling north on Camp Creek Parkway, collided with a tan Lexus attempting a left turn onto Bakers Ferry Road. Tragically, the motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

South Fulton Police Department's Crime Scene Unit and the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office responded to the incident. The 48-year-old victim's body was transported to the Medical Examiner's facility for further examination. Both the motorcycle and the Lexus were removed from the scene by Southside Towing.

Authorities have yet to release additional details, and the incident remains under investigation.
