MPD searching for man accused of sexual offenses in Northwest
WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — Police are asking for the community's help in locating a man who was allegedly involved in sexual offenses that happened in D.C. over the weekend.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), the first offense took place on Nov. 1 around 5 a.m. in Northwest. Police said a man approached the victim, who was standing in the 1400 block of Ogden St.
The man then took out a gun and made unwanted sexual contact with the victim before leaving the area, according to police.

The second incident happened on Nov. 3, around 5 a.m., in the 4500 block of 15th St. Northwest.
Police said the man had a gun and forced the victim into an alley, where they engaged in an unwanted sexual act.
The MPD has not yet released pictures of the man but described him as between 5 feet and 8 inches and 5 feet and 10 inches tall. Police said he weighed around 180 lbs and was last seen wearing dark clothing and a ski mask.

MPD said it is offering a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
