Multiple departments respond to Harrison Co structure fire

Update: 2:44 p.m. — The Harrison County 911 log now states that U.S. Route 19 (Hood Avenue) has reopened.

ENTERPRISE, W.Va. (WBOY) — U.S. Route 19 (Hood Avenue) is currently closed as crews work to put out a structure fire in Harrison County.

At 1:27 p.m. multiple fire departments were alerted and responded to a two-story residence working fire on Main Street in Enterprise according to the Harrison County 911 log.

The road closure is due to water supply lines being stretched across the roadway according to the Harrison County 911 log. The Lost Creek Fire Department has been transferred to the Shinnston Fire Department to cover its calls.

The log also states that there are no injuries at this time.

Shinnston, Lumberport, Spelter, Worthington, Monongah and Bridgeport fire departments along with Harrison County EMS responded to this call.
