Mural movie double feature happening Saturday at Carson City's BAC Outdoor Stage

As part of this weekend's Music and Murals festival in Carson City , celebrate the memory of the of the 21st century's two most prolific muralists during a free screening at the BAC Outdoor Stage on Saturday. Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs but folding chairs will be available for those traveling light. Also enjoy local food trucks and refreshments from the BAC bar.

The Legacy of Muralist Jon Metcalf by Diane Weiss. A journalist finds a painting in a thrift store that leads her on a quest to find out about artist John Metcalf and his life.

Road to Colossus by Erik Burke featuring Russell "buZ blurr" Butler who has adorned tens of thousands of railcars across North America. The documentary follows Burke on a cross-country bicycle ride to interview the infamous muralist at his home.

The program is from 3:30 pm - 4:50 pm at the Brewery Arts Center Outdoor Stage, 449 West King Street, Carson City.
