Adult Take and Make at Natrona County Library: All month long, grab a craft kit to make a paper-tissue tree. Available while supplies last.

DIY Project at Natrona County Library: Stop by the creation station all month long to make personalized Christmas cards.

Affordable Care Act Open Enrollment Help at Natrona County Library: All day on Monday and Tuesday, the library will have specialists available to help you with enrolling in health insurance through the Affordable Care Act. Call 307-237-4935 and ask to speak with the reference desk to sign up for an appointment.

Reading the West Book Club at Fort Caspar Museum: The month, the book club will read and discuss "Steam, Steel and Silence: The Story of the Cole Creek Train Wreck" by Con Trumbull. The club will meet on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Pick up a copy of the book at the library.

Crafty Kids Club at Natrona County Library: This month, the afterschool craft club will make pumpkin teapot houses. This club is for students in kindergarten to sixth grade. The club will meet on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

Glowforge Project at Natrona County Library: On Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., go to the library to make a custom acrylic keychain. Register in advance for this event.

Sewing Project at Natrona County Library: Register in advance to make a holiday table runner with infusible ink. This workshop will be held Thursday at 10 a.m.

Louis J. Gomez at The Rialto: Stand-up comedian Louis J. Gonzales will perform at The Rialto at 7 p.m., Thursday. While he is well known for his podcast, he has also appeared on NBC and Comedy Central. Tickets can be purchased online.

Duo Two Accordions at The Lyric: This father and daughter pair are both accordion champions in competitions across the globe. They will perform together at 7:30 p.m., Thursday.

Sewing Project at Natrona County Library: Register in advance to make a holiday table runner with infusible ink. This workshop will be held Friday at 2 p.m.

BARKS-Giving at Natrona County Library: The Paws to Read event this month will be fall-themed. There will be book giveaways, a craft project and time to interact with therapy dogs. This month's story time will be at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Junk Journaling at Natrona County Library: This week's junk journaling class is on flip flop journal decorations. This class builds on previous classes. Register in advance for this class on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Cafe and Art Walk: Art On The Go is having its monthly Cafe and Art Walk from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Participating locations include Scarlow's Art and Coffee, The Bourgeois Pig, Metro Coffee Company, Copper Cup Coffee Company, Blue Ridge Coffee and Donells Candies and Coffee.

Chili Cook Off at The Gaslight Social: There will be a chili cook off on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to support the Fur Pets Sake Pet Center. There will also be a baked goods sale and raffle baskets. Contact 307-277-3292 by Nov. 1 for chili contest entries.

String Quartet at Wheeler Concert Hall: The Casper Chamber Music Society presents the Ventis String Quartet at 4 p.m., Sunday.

Take and Make for Kids and Tweens: Grab the supplies to make a popsicle stick scarecrow on Nov. 12 while supplies last.

Never Too Old Bookclub at Metro: This month, the Never Too Old Bookclub will be reading "The Sunbearer Trials" by Aiden Thomas at 6:30 p.m., Nov. 12. Pick up a free copy of the book at the library.

Learn the process for getting something 3D printed for free at the library on Nov. 13 at 5:30 p.m.

Teen Cricut Project at Natrona County Library: Register in advance to make infusible ink mugs on Nov. 14 at 4 p.m.

Southern Fryed at The Gaslight Social: Country music band Southern Fryed will perform with Drew Phillips on Nov. 15 at 9 p.m.

Afternoon Bookclub at Metro: This month, the Afternoon Bookclub will read "Cloud and Wallfish" by Anne Nesbet at 2 p.m., Nov. 16. Pick up a free copy of the book at the library.

Zack Scott at Black Tooth Brewing Company: Country-rock artist Zack Scott will perform on Nov. 16 at 7 p.m.

Week of Nov. 18

Take and Make for Kids and Tweens: Grab the supplies to make a paper loop sunflower on Nov. 18 while supplies last.

Game On! at Natrona County Library: The afterschool gaming club will meet on Nov. 18 at 4 p.m. This month's event will be playing "Band Hero" on the Play Station 2.

Teen Cricut Project at Natrona County Library: Register in advance to make infusible ink mugs on Nov. 19 at 4 p.m.

Teen Book Club at Metro Coffee: This month, the book club will read and discuss "Gilded" by Marissa Meyer on Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. Pick up a free copy of the book at the library while supplies last.

Lego Club at Natrona County Library: The afterschool Lego Club will meet on Nov. 20 at 4 p.m. The club is designed for students in kindergarten to sixth grade.

Festival of Trees: Special Olympics Wyoming is hosting the 36th annual festival on Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. This gala and auction event will be at the Best Western. Ten decorated, live trees will be auctioned off.

Babe and Ruthie Boutique Craft Event: Head over to make an ugly Christmas sweatshirt or a Christmas cookie tray. Sweatshirts are $32 each and the cookie trays are $30 each. Both options are customized items available Nov. 22 at 6 p.m.

Darts Competition at Eagle's Bowling: The annual Turkey Shoot is happening Nov. 22 to 23. There is a $10 fee per person per event and both juniors and adults are welcome. There will be a cash payout to winners. There will also be door prizes and raffles.

Quinn Dale at The Rialto: Stand up comedic Quinn Dale is performing at The Rialto on Nov. 22 and 23. The show is for those 18 years old or older. Buy tickets online.

Ongoing events

Low Vision Support Group: The Wyoming Council of the Blind hosts a support group for individuals with difficulty seeing every second Monday at 10 a.m. at the Casper Senior Center.

Dance at the Casper Senior Center: For those age 60 years old and up, you are invited to join the Wild-Cat Granny Easy Stompers. Gentlemen are welcome as well. There are two classes on Monday: one at 10:15 a.m. for beginners and one at 10:45 a.m. for normal dance routines.

Museums and education centers: With 12 different museums and education centers around Casper, parents can balance having fun with a little education. All 12 locations are deemed kid-friendly, and some even have free admission. Go to visitcasper.com for more information.

Movie theaters: Studio City has two locations in town. Both locations offer reclining chairs and buttery popcorn to see the hottest new flicks or a rerun of a classic.

Ice skating: Whether you're looking for an open skate session, figure skating lessons or a hockey team, Casper Ice Arena has you covered. See website for schedule details.

Natrona County Library: Not only is the library a great place to explore a love of reading, but it also has various activities every week. From take-home arts and crafts to story times, the library has something for all age groups. You can even borrow state park passes. The main library is open every day except Sunday. Visit the library website for a calendar of events.

Casper Planetarium: Head over to the planetarium to explore the sky and all it has to offer. The planetarium offers different shows and events each month. They offer public shows every Tuesday to Friday at 4 p.m. and the first three Saturdays of the month at 7 p.m.

Historic Bishop Home: Visit the only historic house museum. Walk through time in this house and learn about how Casper was developed. The Historic Bishop Home is open every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wagon Wheel Roller Skating Rink: The Wagon Wheel Roller Skating Rink has transitioned into the fall/winter/spring hours. They are now open Friday-Sunday. Check out their website for more information.
