Napa County Landmarks executive director celebrates anniversary

Napa County Landmarks, a non-profit dedicated to preserving historic buildings and sites in Napa County through education, advocacy, and support, is celebrating the one-year anniversary of Christine Madrid French as executive director.

This milestone was achieved with the support of the Nonprofit Consulting Group, "whose expertise and guidance were instrumental in the hiring process during a challenging period for nonprofits," said the release.

Founded during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nonprofit Consulting Group was established to assist nonprofits in navigating unprecedented challenges and to provide support beyond the immediate crisis. With a mission to give back, the group offers pro bono consulting services to small and mid-size nonprofits, sharing strategic insights, expertise, and experience to address specific organizational needs.

"We are thrilled to celebrate the first anniversary of Christine, whose leadership has significantly advanced our mission over the past year," said Terry Wunderlich, board president of Napa County Landmarks.

"Thanks to the Nonprofit Consulting Group's support, we were able to find a leader who embodies our values and is committed to preserving Napa's historic heritage."

Since her appointment, Madrid French has led numerous initiatives, including the introduction of two new long-range programs, strengthening the organization's impact and presence in the community. Her strategic approach and dedication to advocacy have been crucial in enhancing Napa County Landmarks' role as a steward of local history, said the release.

"We are delighted to see the positive impact Christine has made over the past year, and we look forward to continuing to support nonprofits in their missions."
