Nashville man arrested in connection with October shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Nashville man was arrested Monday in connection with an October shooting that left one man injured. The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said that Keandre Johnson, 27, had been on electronic monitoring for a March drug arrest. Police added that ultimately, Johnson's ankle monitor helped police place Johnson at the scene of the October shooting.PREVIOUS: Man injured in East Nashville shooting In March, Johnson was arrested on South 7th Street while carrying a fully automatic pistol, cocaine and fentanyl. Investigators observed surveillance video that showed the victim driving an orange Chevrolet Camaro with orange rims at the intersection of Edgewood Avenue and New Kings Road, according to the JSO arrest report for Lavertis Reed, 20, who was charged with murder in the shooting.
