New Chicken Ranch Resort Grand Opening This Weekend

Jamestown, CA – The grand opening of the new Chicken Ranch Casino Resort kicks off this weekend.

"We're thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of Chicken Ranch Casino Resort with our guests," said Lloyd Mathiesen, chairman of the Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians. "Our team has been hard at work to make this truly special. It's a celebration you won't want to miss!"

Back in July, the resort held a soft opening and Clarke Broadcasting got a tour of the nine-story, 175 guestroom resort and 100,000-square-foot gaming floor, with pictures here. For the grand opening resort, officials have put together a weekend filled with events beginning on Friday, Nov. 8, and running through Sunday. There will be live DJ performances on Friday and Saturday, from 9 p.m. – 12 a.m. The festivities continue with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon on Saturday, with a free, limited-edition t-shirt for the first 1,000 guests. All guests can also enter the Wild Ride Giveaway, where at 9 p.m. the winner will drive away in a new 2024 Chevy Tahoe. There will be special giveaways throughout the day, live characters, and performances by Journey Revisited and Walker Hayes, followed by various live DJs, continuing late into the night. Tickets for the live concerts, with the doors opening at 6 p.m., are $85 for guests 21 and older;.

Then on Sunday, the weekend wraps up with Pro Angler Randy Pierson and there will be more giveaway prizes from 1 to 4 p.m.
