BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Those looking to make a lifestyle change or continue their fitness journey will soon have a new gym to check out.

BC Fit is opening on October 2 at 1247 Front Street in Binghamton. The 24-hour fitness center offers state-of-the-art equipment as well as expert personal trainers who will help you achieve your fitness goals.

Owned by Mason Mastroianni and Tom Testa along with Lindsay Testa and Mick Mastroianni, the facility hopes to offer a friendly neighborhood gym vibe.

BC Fit also sports a logo created by Mason that features the dinosaur from the BC comic strip. Mason, the current BC and Wizard of Id cartoonist and Mick, the Wizard of Id writer, took over for their late grandfather Johnny Hart in 2007.

BC Fit was formerly an Anytime Fitness franchise where Mason and Tom were both members. When the gym announced that it would be closing, they decided to team up and purchase the assets.
