    Dolphins -8 versus Jets

    Steelers -1 versus Bengals

Divisional games can be tricky to predict, and it's not always safe to back road favorites. However, the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins and Pittsburgh Steelers are all trending as favorable picks in the early week.

The 49ers have regained their groove post-bye, recording back-to-back convincing wins over the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Quarterback Brock Purdy is playing well again—he had a perfect 153.8 passer rating in Week 11—and the defense has returned to playoff-caliber form.

The Seattle Seahawks, meanwhile, have started to stumble. They've lost two of their last three and were very fortunate to escape with a win over the Washington Commanders in Week 10.

This is a must-win game for the 49ers, who need it to stay atop the NFC West standings. They should win by more than a touchdown.

The Dolphins should also win big against a New York Jets team struggling to find offensive answers. New York benched quarterback Zach Wilson during a blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and now, it's unclear who will start in Week 12.

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport , Tim Boyle will get the start.

A quarterback change isn't likely to mean much, though, against a Dolphins defense that suddenly appears potent. Getting Jalen Ramsey on that side of the ball has helped Miami tremendously, and the Dolphins have allowed an average of just 17 points over the last three games.

The Dolphins are balanced, dangerous and should win convincingly against the Jets.

The Steelers might not win convincingly against the Bengals, but they should win. For the second straight week, Pittsburgh will face a backup quarterback, as Joe Burrow is done for the season with a wrist injury.

The Steelers struggled against a good Cleveland Browns defense on Sunday, but the Bengals have serious concerns on defense. Cincinnati has surrendered 64 points over its past two games.

Pittsburgh needs to get more out of Kenny Pickett and its passing offense, but it should get back in the win column against the Bengals in Week 12.
