The festival, now entering its fourth year, takes place from June 27 to 29, 2025 at Lough Key Forest Park, Co Roscommon. After the success of this year's event an extra stage has been added for 2025 with even more musical acts set to take to the Night and Day stage. Swedish sing-songwriter Jose Gonzalez will take to the Queen Medb Stage for his only Irish performance of 2025. Gonzalez rose to national success in the early 2000s, first leading the indie rock band Junip before becoming a critically acclaimed solo artist after releasing his debut solo album "Veneer" featuring his acoustic version of "Heartbeats", by fellow Swedes "The Knife", which brought him international fame. Other acts taking to the Queen Medb stage include Jamaican reggae group The Wailers, who formerly played with Bob Marley, and continue to captivate audiences with their unique brand of reggae, blending the sounds of the past with a fresh, contemporary flair. Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall, who catapulted herself into the international music scene in 2005 with her classic debut album Eye to the Telescope, which spawned international hits like "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" will also take to the Queen Medb Stage. KT won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song in 2006 for her hit "Suddenly I See" which was also on her debut album. Irish acts including The Stunning, Lisa Hannigan and the Neil Young Tribute act Harvest, will also appear on the Queen Medb Stage. Acts taking to the Luna stage include Belfast based folk singer and former Northern Ireland Mercury Prize best album winner Joshua Burnside, Irish multi-instrumentalist Daithi, druid rockers Bog Bodies, Dublin based electro noise act Yard, slouch rock rising star Skinner as well as Frank, Shark School, James Keegan and Jester. The winner of the 2024 Night and Day song contest Dark Isle will also be returning to the Luna stage in 2025. Festivalgoers can also explore the beautiful grounds and campsite at Lough Key Forest Park. Families will also be able to avail of the on-site activities such as zip-lining courses, forest trails and the tree-top walk. Roscommon County Council and Coillte have enhanced their partnership with Night and Day to support its growth and showcase Lough Key Forest Park to the festival's growing audience. Festival Director Brendan Hurley said Night and Day 2025 will be the biggest and best one yet. "We've been building our profile and reputation steadily over the last few years and this is reflected in the quality of the international acts that we will host in 2025. "Another testament to our continued growth will be the addition of a third music stage at next year's event. Full details will be released in the coming weeks but we're very excited by the fact that the new stage will provide something totally different for festival attendees to explore. "We would like to thank both Roscommon County Council and Coillte for their continued support of Night and Day as we look to build on the success of three great festivals," said Mr Hurley. Key Forest Park is one of Coillte's 12 forest parks and key visitor destinations in the country. MD of Coillte Forest, Mark Carlin said they are delighted to continue to support the Night and Day festival and to welcome visitors, young and old alike, to experience the beautiful Lough Key Forest Park. "Coillte is committed to delivering the multiple benefits of forests for climate, nature, wood and people and this family-friendly festival is an opportunity for visitors to enjoy the music, culture and art, combined with the beauty of nature in the unique surroundings of this beautiful recreational forest in the heart of Roscommon," said Mr Carlin. More acts will be announced in the coming months. Tickets for Night and Day are on sale now at nightandday.ie/ for €165 for weekend adult camping tickets, with children's tickets costing €5.
