Nightime sewer work will close lanes on major Dothan road

DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — A sewer replacement project will close lanes along South Oates Street for five days.
According to the city of Dothan, contractors will work on the replacement project from Sunday, October 20, to Friday, October 26, each day from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Lane closures and shifts will occur during this time, and digital arrow signs will be placed to direct drivers.
The work will take place along South Oates Street, between West Main and West Crawford Streets, in the 100 to 150 blocks of South Oates Street.
Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the area.
