Boston College is entering the game against North Carolina at 5-5 but just 2-4 in ACC play. That leaves the Eagles one win away from bowl eligibility in their first season under head coach Bill O'Brien.

However, there has been some news surrounding the quarterback position in Chestnut Hill. After starter Thomas Castellanos was benched, he stepped away and has since announced he is going to transfer. In his place, Grayson James took over at quarterback. In last week's loss to , James completed 18 of 32 passes for 237 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. He also ran for five yards and a touchdown.

As for North Carolina, the Tar Heels are already bowl eligible. That's despite a slow start to the season that was marred by giving up 70 points to James Madison in September. However, since then, the Tar Heels have three wins in a row and are looking as good as they have all season.

This season has been a trying one for North Carolina in many respects. One of the biggest challenges has been mourning the death of former player Tylee Craft , who head coach Mack Brown has noted the impact of on the program.

"It's absolutely changed the way I think about some things and my life's better because of Tylee Craft, 100%," Brown said . "I wish we had him longer, but he taught me more things than people I've been around for 73 years have taught me. He taught me, 'Why pout after losses?' You're not supposed to. We're talking about life and death here. After a loss, you're supposed to learn from your loss, correct it and get better. I've been a guy who didn't handle losses. Well, heck, I'm part of the loss, so fix my problems and get better with it. He taught you to have fun. We don't know how many days we've got."

Boston College and North Carolina are set to kickoff at Noon on Saturday.
