Geraldine Kay Miller, Niles, Ohio
NILES, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Geraldine Kay Miller, of Niles, 89, passed away, at the Hospice House in Poland, on Saturday, November 16, 2024, following a brief battle with cancer.
She was born on August 3, 1935, in Wyandotte, Michigan, the daughter of the late Arthur and Donna Belle Mawby Jenkins.
Geraldine was a 1953 graduate and Salutatorian of Roosvelt High School in Michigan.
She was employed at Wyandotte Education Board as a secretary. After moving to Niles in 1956, she was employed as a secretary for Jefferson and Lincoln Schools in Niles.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Niles where she was the secretary. Geraldine was a member of the Niles Historical Society and Quest Club. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, sewing, and traveling. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Geraldine is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer K. Miller of Haslett, Texas and Amy (Mick) Marsco of Cortland; a son, Mark W. Miller of Bedord, Texas; three grandchildren, Julianna (Blaine) Begalla, Michael Marsco, and Robbie Marsco and a great-granddaughter, Harper Begalla.
In addition to her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Miller, whom she married July 14, 1956 and died October 28, 2022 and a sister, Roberta Kidd.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 23 at 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home 614 Warren Avenue, Niles, OH 44446.
A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
