North Carolina receives D+ grade for preterm birth

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS NOW) — November is Prematurity Awareness month and Sunday, Nov. 17, is World Prematurity Awareness day.

March of Dimes director of maternal infant health for North Carolina, Pat Campbell, talked about how important it is to raise awareness for this. This is the 3rd year the U.S. earned a D+ for preterm birth. North Carolina received the same grade.
