North Central Florida School schedules affected by Hurricane Helene

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - North Central Florida schools' schedules are being affected this coming week due to the hurricane.

Alachua and Bradford County schools haven't announced any closures next week due to the storm.

But Columbia, Dixie, and Gilchrist County schools are all going to be closed Monday, October. 1.

Leaders in those counties are deciding when to re-open.

All levy county schools will be opening on Monday, October. 1. except for Cedar Key School.

There will be a parent meeting for those residents on October. 1. at 10 a.m. to discuss plans for the school.

Marion, Suwannee and Union County schools will all re-open Monday morning, October. 1.
