R.Green35 min ago

BURKE COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – City officials in the cities of Girard, Vidette, and Waynesboro are asking residents to conserve water.

City leaders say that if residents need water, you can bring clean containers with lids and go to EMA Stations at these locations-Spring Branch Church Rd, Hephzibah-Keysville Rd, Hwy 305-Gough, Story Mill Rd, Hwy 56 South (between Waynesboro/Midville), and EMA Headquarters in Waynesboro.

Officials say that water is available from 7 A.M. to 10 P.M. at the Burke Co. EMA stations listed above.

City leaders want residents to know that most roads still have hazards with trees and/or powerlines down causing one lane only access. Please only travel if absolutely necessary.
