Ocean City battles flooding as Ocean Calling Music Festival draws crowds

Helene is now a post-tropical cyclone over Kentucky, but the storm brought torrential rain to Ocean City, Maryland on Friday night.
Doppler radar had estimated between 3 to 6 inches of rain fell in a short amount of time, leading to flash flooding in parts of the Del-Mar-Va peninsula.
Yesterday, flooding hit the beach town, which is experiencing a surge in population thanks to the Ocean Calling Music festival.

Despite the flooding conditions, the sold-out festival went on as scheduled on Friday. The festival is expected to continue through the weekend and the town deals with the fallout from these storms and floods.
