ODOT seeks public input for roadways plan

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma (KAUZ) - The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is seeking input from the public on the future of its roadways.

ODOT is in the process of preparing a new 25-year plan that will dictate the agency's direction from 2025-2050. The plan won't establish a lot of specifics, but rather will serve as a lodestar for overarching strategies and goals.

"Our transportation system's strength lies in its ability to connect communities statewide, ensuring all Oklahomans have access to vital services, jobs and opportunities," Oklahoma Department of Transportation Deputy Director Dawn Sullivan said. "By gathering feedback from across the state, we can ensure the priorities outlined in the plan directly benefit communities large and small and enhance the quality of life for all Oklahomans."

Oklahomans can learn more about the plan and submit feedback at www.oklongrangeplan.org now through Friday, Dec. 20.
