Olivia Bowen has sparked concern after she shared a snap from a hospital bed as she issued a health update.

The former Love Island star, 30, took to Instagram in the early hours of Wednesday morning to update fans.

Olivia revealed that she may be quite quiet on her social media for the next week or two as she had undergone 'minor surgery'.

She was seen lying on a hospital bed wearing a medical gown as she posed for a selfie by pouting and making a peace sign.

The TV personality reassured fans not to worry as she was 'absolutely fine' but said she wasn't ready to disclose her illness yet - though she confirmed it was not cosmetic.

'I may be a bit quiet on my socials over the next week or so,' she captioned the picture.

'I had minor surgery (not cosmetic). I'm absolutely fine so please don't worry about me, I know what you guys are like you're so kind. It's no drama but I'm just not ready to talk about it xxx.'

It comes less than two weeks after Olivia jetted off to Greek island Skiathos for a friend's hen party earlier this month.

The mother-of-one looked sensational as she showed off her incredible figure in a multi-coloured bikini.

Relaxing on a rock in the sea, Olivia looked positively radiant as she joked in the caption: 'A sure fire way to cure a hangover'.

Showing off her array of tattoos, the star completed her look with a pair of stylish sunglasses as she pouted in snaps before throwing up the peace sign.

Olivia and her friends looked to be having a great time as they hit the beautiful Greek island to celebrate her friend Morgan's hen.

Taking to her Instagram Story the group looked to be enjoying a boat trip as they headed out to watch the sunset.

Sharing a group snap she gushed: 'There's nothing like a girls holiday, especially when it's a special hen do for our fave chick. I have non stop laughed, drank, cuddled, danced & talked. These girls are my lifeeeeeee'.

In another snap the star put on a very leggy display in a leopard print mini skirt and cowboy boots as she kept it stylish for an evening out.

The party girl joked it had been a heavy night as she captioned the snaps: '80% tequila 20% espresso martini (even writing that has made me want to vom)'.

She seemed to be making the most of her time off from mum duties as she holidayed without her husband Alex, 32, and their son Abel, two.

Olivia recently opened up about her journey towards starting a new career in interior design and building up a multi-million pound property portfolio.

After leaving the Love Island her and Alex earned thousands through brand deals and even had their own TV show, Olivia and Alex Said Yes, on TLC in 2018 .

But Olivia has explained that she is aware of the fleeting nature of Love Island fame, and decided to begin investing in property, while following her dream of a career in interior design.

In an interview with The Sunday Times in August, she said: 'I know Love Island won't last for ever. I've got my [influencing] career, which I absolutely adore, but I know things are going to change. Interior design has become something that I want to do with my life.

'My dad always instilled the importance of property into me and I had that in the back of my mind.'

Alex and Olivia splashed out around £800,000 in 2017 to purchase their first home in Chelmsford, Essex, before buying Olivia's dream house in 2020 for just over £1 million.

The same year they also invested £128,000 into a one-bedroom in Birmingham , to renovate it and then rent it out.

Continuing to build their buy-to-let property portfolio, the following year they bought a three-bedroom rental property for £175,000.
