Omaha crews investigating house fire in Little Italy

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The Omaha Fire Department responded to a fire at a house in Little Italy on Sunday. Crews were called to the house near 6th and William Streets shortly before 10 a.m. Sunday. A report says that they saw heavy smoke from the front of the house when they arrived. No one was in the house at the time of the fire, according to the report. Crews got the fire down in about 15 minutes. The report says that three cats were found dead and another was not found. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damages are estimated at $50,000. No injuries have been reported.
