One critical, one in custody after Winona apartment shooting

A man is in a critical condition after a shooting at Winona apartment complex early Thursday morning.
Police and paramedics were called to the complex on the 300 block of West 10th St. after receiving reports of gunfire at 4:22 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from one gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. He is currently in critical condition.
A second man was found at the scene and taken into custody for questioning.
Police have described it as an isolated incident and say that there is no active threat to the community.
