One hospitalized after showing up at Fort Sam Houston with gunshot wound
SAN ANTONIO - One person has been hospitalized after being shot in a seemingly random rolling shooting.
Around 9 p.m. on Friday, officers were dispatched to a local hospital after a victim arrived with a gunshot wound.
Police said that the victim arrived by vehicle at the gates of Ft. Sam Houston with a gunshot wound.
Security personnel requested EMS and was transported by medical staff to the emergency room.
Based on information gathered at the scene, the victim was a passenger in the vehicle when an unknown vehicle drove past, and opened fire on them.
Police have no information on who the suspect is, where they may be, or the exact location where the shooting took place.
The victim is reportedly recovering from their injury in stable condition.
