One injured after crash in Saginaw County

MAPLE GROVE TWP, Mich. (WNEM) – The Saginaw County Sheriff's Office announced a crash that occurred Tuesday morning, Nov. 5, at around 8 a.m. A two-car collision occurred near Pete Rd. and Gasper Rd. in Maple Grove Twp. The Saginaw County Sheriff's Office said a Chevrolet Impala was driving southbound on Gasper and failed to stop for the sign at Pete Rd, hitting a Chrysler Town and Country Van driving westbound on Pete Rd. The Saginaw County Sheriff's Office responded that the van struck the driver's side of the Impala. The Impala was driven by a 45-year-old local man (say where he's from). The van was driven by a 60-year-old woman with a three-year-old and a one-year-old boy in the rear seats. Police say the driver of the Impala suffered a broken left leg, the driver of the van appeared uninjured but went to the hospital for evaluation. The two children were uninjured and turned over to their father, who responded to the scene, according to the Saginaw County Sheriff's Office
