Overnight Lane Closures Slated For LI Expressway In Town Of Huntington The closures are for bridge maintenance. The department provided alternate routes for motorists.

— Overnight closures are coming to the interchange of the Long Island Expressway and State Route 110 (Broadhollow Road) in the Town of Huntington on Thursday, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.

The closures are set to begin at 9 p.m. and conclude at 5 a.m. Friday, weather permitting, to facilitate bridge maintenance:

  • The center and right lanes on northbound State Route 110 will be closed at the bridge over the L.I.E.
  • The Exit 49N exit ramp from the eastbound L.I.E. to northbound State Route 110 will be closed. Motorists should use Exit 49S and proceed on the South Service Road for access to northbound State Route 110.
