Pack Pros: LB Payton Wilson posts another career-best performance

Another week, another career-best showing for NC State Pack Pro linebacker Payton Wilson . The standout defender made his presence felt on national television in the Pittsburgh Steelers' 20-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football.

Wilson recorded a career-high nine total tackles, including five solo stops, in the defeat. He topped his previous career-best six tackles, which the linebacker set last weekend against the Indianapolis Colts.

While Wilson turned in another season-best performance, he wasn't the only NC State Pack Pro in action over the weekend. Here's a look at how the rest of the Wolfpack's NFL players did.

Garrett Bradbury (played at NC State from 2015-18), #56 Minnesota Vikings: Bradbury played all 73 snaps in the Vikings' 23-17 win over the New York Jets in London.

Jacoby Brissett (2014-15), #14 New England Patriots: Brissett was 18-of-34 passing for 160 yards in the Patriots' 15-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins. He was sacked twice and logged a QBR of 31.3 in the defeat.

Bradley Chubb (2014-17), #2 Miami Dolphins: Chubb is currently on the Dolphins' injured reserve and will miss at least the first four games of the 2024 season. He did not play in the Dolphins' 15-10 win over the New England Patriots and fellow Pack Pro Jacoby Brissett.

A.J. Cole III(2015-18), #6 Las Vegas Raiders: Cole logged five punts for 267 yards in the Raiders' 34-18 loss to the Denver Broncos. He averaged 53.4 yards per punt with two kicks inside the 20-yard line. Cole had a long of 61 yards in the defeat.

Cory Durden (2021-22), #98 Los Angeles Rams:.Durden is on the Rams' practice squad.

Ikem Ekwonu (2019-21), #79 Carolina Panthers: Ekwonu played a total of 62 snaps in the Panthers' 36-10 loss to the Chicago Bears.

Trenton Gill (2018-21) #47 Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Gill logged two punts for 87 yards in the Buccaneers' 36-30 overtime loss to the Atlanta Falcons. He averaged 43.5 yards per kick with one inside the 20-yard line. Gill recorded a long of 45 yards in the defeat.

Kelvin Harmon (2016-18), #84 Dallas Cowboys: Harmon is on the Cowboys' practice squad for the 2024 season.

B.J. HillJr. (2014-17), #92 Cincinnati Bengals: Hill logged five total tackles, including two solo stops, in the Bengals' 41-38 overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens. He had one pass defended and one quarterback hit in the defeat.

Nyheim Hines (2015-17), #22 Cleveland Browns: Hines is still recovering from his season-ending injury suffered last year. He will miss at least the first four weeks of the 2024 season.

Tanner Ingle (2018-22), #34 Los Angeles Rams: Ingle is on the Rams' practice squad.

Justin Jones (2014-17), #93 Arizona Cardinals: Jones was placed on the Cardinals' injured reserve with a triceps injury . He will miss the rest of the season to recover.
