Wide receiver/punt returner Demario Douglas was forced to exit the New England Patriots ’ Week 12 game against the New York Giants after a controversial in the fourth quarter. The rookie was taken down hard on a punt return, absorbing a hard from Giants coverage specialist Cam Brown. Surprisingly, though, the play was not penalized by the officiating crew despite the clear shot to the head. The Patriots were, unsurprisingly, not happy with that: both Matthew Slater and Jabrill Peppers were quite animated after the play — and they let the official hear it. As for Douglas, he exited to the blue medical tent and later went into the locker room.
