Pawtopia suites unveil new Edwardsville location
(WBRE/WYOU) — Local pets can say hello to some sweet new suites. If your furry friend ever needs a place to stay, Pawtopia Suites opened its new Edwardsville location's doors on Sunday, kicking it off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Replacing their Wilkes-Barre location, they can now start offering training and Suites that give your pet a more homey atmosphere with amenities like TVs and couches.
They now offer overnight stays, grooming, and socializing for dogs of all sizes, in a cage-free and welcoming place.
The owner of Pawtopia says she is looking forward to the change.
"I'm just excited, I love having dogs here, taking care of everyone else's dog, I've had experience with pets since, you know, since high school pretty much, which is like ten years ago, I worked as a vet tech so loved animals, I love taking care of them," said Kaitlyn Littzi, Owner of Pawtopia.
Representative Alec Ryncavage said at the ribbon-cutting that he will be working with the borough to pave Pawtopia's road and install streetlights and security cameras.
These projects may start as early as June.
