PD: Motorcyclist seriously hurt in Muskegon Township crash

MUSKEGON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say a motorcyclist was seriously hurt Saturday in a crash in Muskegon Township.
It happened on Apple Avenue between Dangl Road and Mill Iron Road.
The Muskegon Township Police Department told News 8 that a car and a motorcycle crashed. The male motorcycle rider suffered injuries that were serious but were not considered life-threatening, police said. They did not indicate what led up to the crash.
Around 6 p.m. Saturday, the Michigan Department of Transportation said the road was shut down in both directions because of the crash. By 10 p.m., all lanes were back open.
Authorities are investigating.
