Pedestrian hit by car near Calumet Center Road in LaGrange

LAGRANGE, Ga. ( WRBL ) — A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in LaGrange Wednesday night, according to the LaGrange Police Department.
Officers came to Lafayette Parkway near the intersection with Calumet Center Road on Nov. 6 around 6:54 p.m. They say the pedestrian was hit by a 2013 Hyundai Sonata.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
LaGrange police say the pedestrian was at fault for the collision, saying the pedestrian was in dark clothing and was crossing Lafayette Parkway into oncoming traffic in the rain at night and not at a designated crossing area.
