Person shot on Hathaway Street in Owensboro

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Owensboro Police say a person has been shot on the 600 block of Hathaway Street.
The Owensboro Police Department took to Facebook to announce the shooting. The post says police received multiple calls about gunshots shortly after 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
One person was shot in the incident and was taken to the hospital. Police say their condition is unknown at this time.
The post says that police believe this to be an isolated incident. They say the investigation is ongoing.
Police urge anyone with information about the shooting to contact OPD.
