In a battle of top-5 teams, momentum was all on the Nebraska Cornhuskers' side on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, as the No. 5 Huskers swept the No. 2 Stanford Cardinal in the Bob Devaney Sports Center. Nebraska continued its early-season home dominance, as it recorded 38 kills and 36 assists on 0.263% hitting with nine blocks in three sets against the Cardinal.

"The crowd was brilliant, electric tonight," Nebraska coach John Cook said. "I thought our team came out attacking and attacked all three games and really wore them down in game three."

The Huskers will look to extend their win streak to seven when they travel to play the No. 4 Louisville Cardinals. First set is at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22, at the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
