Here's everything you need to know for the PIAA 3A girls volleyball quarterfinals match:

Big Spring (17-4): Last season, Big Spring won their first District 3 match in program history. This season, Big Spring won its first state tournament match with a 3-2 victory over Archbishop Carroll Tuesday, Nov. 5. Kira Eisenberg and Laylah Chestnut lead a Big Spring team that can hit if they get hot.

Berwick (18-2): Berwick is a force in District 2, winning four of the last five District 2 3A titles. However, Berwick has failed to make it past the first round of the state tournament each time, excluding a quarterfinals appearance in 2020. That all changed this season after a 3-0 sweep of District 4 champion Shamokin. Zoey Force, Angelina Colone and Grace Robbins lead Berwick, with Force leading the defense and Colone and Robbins leading the offense.

At stake: Both programs haven't had much success in the state playoffs recently. A win for either side will give that program some momentum moving forward.

X-factor: Serving is an easy way to get points and keep the other team off-balance offensively. Both teams have success serving, so the team who handles serve receive the best may end up winning the match.

Pick: Berwick defeats Big Spring 3-1
