DELAVAN ( 25News Now ) - Hundreds of horseback riders came to fundraise for breast cancer one barrel at a time, at the annual Pink Turn and Burn Barrel race at the 4 Rocks arena in Delevan this past weekend.

This fundraiser started back in 2017 when the creator Kim Moss's mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Since her mother's diagnosis, Kim decided to create a Pink Turn and Burn Barrel Race fundraiser. This was to share her love for barrel racing and helping others with breast cancer.

Around 250 to 300 horses will compete in 10 different horse classes. The age range of riders is one-and-a-half to 90 years old.

Riders competed in Barrel racing, Pole bending, Flag race, and a Plug race. The winners from each class can won a cash prize, a saddle, or a silver buckle.

Kim Moss said the past seven years this fundraiser has brought in around $60,000.

"With Breast Cancer in my family, it's become a way to give back. It means a lot to give back to breast cancer patients," she said.

The proceeds will go to the Pink Fund, which will help patients pay for their medical bills.
