KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Zoo Knoxville's "Boo! At The Zoo" event is kicking off on Thursday, October 10, and this year, the special Planet Predator exhibit will be included in the full "Boo!" experience.

Planet Predator has been at Zoo Knoxville since May 1, but "Boo! At The Zoo" will be the final chance for guests to see some of the most ferocious predators to ever roam the earth with the exhibit wrapping up on October 31.

"We've had a great response from guests about Planet Predators. This year, we're excited to include it as part of 'Boo! At The Zoo,'" Zoo Knoxville spokesperson JJ Jones told 6 News. "Unlike last year, when Dawn of the Dinosaurs wrapped up before Boo! At The Zoo, we've made sure Planet Predators and our dinosaurs will be featured throughout the treat trail and the overall "Boo" experience."

The exhibit features 16 different species of birds, mammals and dinosaurs, such as the sabertooth tiger, the dire wolf, and the 40-foot-long Titanoboa. It isn't clear exactly how Planet Predator will be worked into the "Boo!" experience, (one can only hope for a Carnotaurus wearing a witch hat), but Zoo Knoxville does say the event will feature "not-too-spooky" décor. There will also be treat stations, a "monster mash dance party," and seasonal menu items.

This year's "Boo! At The Zoo" event is happening Thursdays through Sundays between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., starting October 10. Throughout the course of the event, there will include princess, Ghostbusters, and Star Wars nights.
