Police arrest 19-year-old in connection to Lansing homicide

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The Lansing Police Department say they arrested a 19-year-old man in connection to a homicide of an 18-year-old Thursday evening.

The incident happened around 11:45 p.m. and investigators say they found the 18-year-old with a gunshot wound on the 600 block of Sadie Court.

Lansing police told 6 News when they arrived at the scene, they found out the 18-year-old had been in a car crash. They believe the suspect took off in a different car.

This incident is still under investigation as they gather more information to determine the sequence of events.
