Police Investigate Two `No Hit' Shooting in Long Beach

Police are investigating two "no-hit" shootings in Long Beach that occurred within minutes of each other, authorities said Saturday.

Officers dispatched at 9:37 p.m. Friday to a "shots" call in the 5800 block of Locust Avenue located evidence that a shooting had occurred, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival. No injuries were reported.

Officers sent at 9:39 p.m. Friday to the 500 block of Linden Avenue, regarding a "shots" call, also located evidence that a shooting had occurred. The suspects fled the scene prior to the arrival of police and no injuries were reported.
