Police: Pampa teen dead after crash involving drunk driver

PAMPA, Texas (KFDA) - The Pampa Police Department is investigating a crash that left one teen dead after a crash involving a drunk driver on Friday night. Officials say police were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of US Highway 60 and Cuyler Street at around 6:09 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20. According to officials, 18-year-old Kaley Bilyeu of Pampa was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, 20-year-old Erik Monserrat Hernandez was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. Officials say Hernandez was later booked into the Gray County Jail for intoxication manslaughter. This crash remains under investigation.
