The department announced the arrests late on Thursday morning, saying they were assisted by police in Fort Wayne, New Haven, Huntington County, Dekalb County, and Auburn, along with Indiana State Police and Special Agents from the DEA.

Officers say they served search warrants at two homes on Wednesday, one on Willard Drive and one on Lafayette Street, as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

During the search of the Willard Drive home, police say they seized 384 grams of fentanyl, over 1,000 grams of methamphetamine, and a large amount of cash.

At the Lafayette Street home, police say they found a stolen firearm, 28 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, and another large sum of cash.

Then on Friday, the department shared that they received an additional search warrant in the investigation on Thursday.

They say that search led to the discovery of 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, 2.25 pounds of cocaine and 2.5 pounds of black tar heroin.

Following the investigation, police say they arrested 28-year-old Analycia Perez, 26-year-old Destiny Garcia, and 42-year-old Jeronimo Bertoldo Barraza.

All three are facing a preliminary charge of dealing in cocaine or a narcotic drug. Police say a hold has been placed on Barraza by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
