Porch pirates are out: Fairview Park Police Blotter

Fairview Park, OhioTheft, Westgate On Oct. 16 a theft was reported at Kohl's. Two women involved left the area in a car which officers later stopped. A 22-year-old Cleveland woman and a 21-year-old Bedford woman were arrested.Theft, West 210th Street On Oct. 17 a resident reported a package had been stolen off the porch. The investigation is ongoing.Grand theft, Westgate On Oct. 18 officers responded to a theft at Kohl's. When the officers arrived, a man ran away and was later caught. The 44-year-old Parma Heights man was charged with grand theft and taken to a local hospital for an unrelated medical issue.Drunk driving, Wooster Road On Oct. 19 officers stopped a driver for a traffic violation. The driver appeared to be intoxicated and was unable to successfully complete field sobriety tests. The 40-year-old Cuyahoga Falls man was arrested.
