PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD/WYZZ) — Bloomington scored the first 28 points of the game and beat host Normal West, 48-16, in a Big 12 Conference match-up on Friday.
Bloomington is 4-0 for the first time since 2004 and beat Normal West for the first time since 2012. Normal Community suffered its first loss of the season, a 26-13 setback at Kankakee.
Other area high school football winners Friday included Washington, Metamora, East Peoria, Dunlap, Peoria High, Notre Dame, U-High, Eureka, LeRoy, Tri-Valley, Farmington, Elmwood-Brimfield, Stark County, Princeville, Fieldcrest, Prairie Central and Olympia.
