DULUTH — Briar Mrozik finished the regular season with a hat trick as Duluth Marshall boys soccer took down Alexandria 5-1 on Saturday at home.

Thomas Falgier made seven saves for the Hilltoppers, who finished the regular season 6-10 and will host Proctor in the quarterfinals of the Section 7A tournament on Tuesday in a matchup of the third and sixth seeds.

The Greyhounds generated three goals in the second half to finish off the Packers in their regular-season finale on Saturday in South St. Paul.

Lilly Kuettel, Gracyn Schipper and Darby Friday all scored, while Kayleigh Wimot handed out a pair of assists.

Jordin Flohaug and Maggie Winesett split time in the East net, with Flohaug making two saves and Winesett five.

The Greyhounds enter the postseason 13-3 and winners of nine straight, all shutouts, and should be the top seed in the to-be-announced Section 7AAA bracket, which opens on Tuesday.
