Pueblo temporary housing and shelter emergency extended

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Mayor of Pueblo Heather Graham issued a declaration of temporary housing and shelter emergency starting on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. and will last until Friday, Nov. 15 ending at 7 a.m.

According to the City of Pueblo the ordinance was previously declared by Mayor Graham from Tuesday, Nov. 5 through Sunday, Nov. 10 ending at 7 a.m. and the new declaration extends the previous one.

During the emergency declaraction, local churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and other religious institutions may use their buildings as temporary shelters for the City's homeless population

The City said the National Weather Service predicts continued snow and low temperatures from Nov. 10 to Nov. 15.
