Attorney general: Dave Sunday

Sunday, the York County District Attorney, was elected to become the state's new top prosecutor. He'll oversee public investigations and legal advocacy on issues like consumer protection, health care and civil rights.

Sunday ran on a platform vowing to improve public safety, reduce violence and fight drug addiction. He defeated DePasquale, a former auditor general and state lawmaker.

He succeeds Democrat Michelle Henry, who was appointed to the role of attorney general after Josh Shapiro was elected Pennsylvania's governor in 2022, but decided not to run for reelection.
